Jonathan’s birthday (November 20th) always seems to fall around the time of a big movie opening. Well, for the past several years, those movies have actually been
Twilight’s—and trust me when I say this is totally Jonathan’s choice of what to do for his birthday. He has read, and enjoyed, the entire series. This year, it was the series finale. So, to celebrate his birthday, after meeting three other couples out for dinner at Wolfgang Puck’s, we headed to the theater to watch the final
Breaking Dawn—at least those of us who wanted to see it (5 out of 7 wasn’t bad—Brooke was out of town to round out our 8). I thought it was a fun time, and a good tradition for Jonathan’s birthday. Oh, and the best part for Jonathan on this night out, we were home by 10pm. Next year,
Catching Fire here we come! :)
Jonathan’s actual birthday, a Tuesday, had very little fanfare, but it was still a lot of what Jonathan likes. He went to his evening Athletic Conditioning class—a fave of his, but not always convenient—and came home to his very favorite ice cream cake. Hope you had a nice birthday, Jonathan!
